EGR - Scouse282 - 21-05-2014

Blanked off my egr valve today but I've heard that there's a blue plug you have to unplug too ? is this right or is that something completely different ?
cheers Smile

Yeah the blue plug will stop the egr opening but blanking it off does pretty much the same. It is located by the brake fluid reservoir but unplugging it brings up a silent fault code.

if you have a later hdi you need to disable the air douser too, which is on the inlet from the turbo

how easy was it to take the lot off ?

RE: EGR - my-first-306 - 21-05-2014

pain in the arse lol, getting to the egr bolts, and hose clips on the air doser are the worst bits
