Probably like you say confused with the s16, could have at least looked into it before hand. Did the s16 have smaller brakes than gti6 then?

Yea the s16 came with 266mm brakes

When he says 306 gti, I wander if he's referring to the xsi?
It's essentially what they did with the 206, gti with the 138bhp 2l 16v then the Gti180
Maybe they've applied that to the 306?

I can count on one hand the amount of 6's I've seen that weren't at a meet with you guys so for me I'd say their rare. Most likely to do with the area though, 306's aren't "sik like a bimmer innit" Then the diesel 306 goes sailing past faster than they can
