Badge Re-spray - Nathan1305 - 09-05-2014

Just re-sprayed my badge satin black Big Grin what do you guys think?

RE: Badge Re-spray - C.A.R. - 09-05-2014

I'm a big fan of the OEM chrome Sad IMO the black just looks like all of the chrome has fallen off!

But if you like it that's all that matters Smile

RE: Badge Re-spray - 7057sam - 09-05-2014

Looks great nice job Smile

RE: Badge Re-spray - Kezzieboy - 09-05-2014

On the flipside to CAR, I HATE the chrome, looks really tacky IMO, so that looks much better!

RE: Badge Re-spray - Nathan1305 - 09-05-2014

Thanks guys Smile yeah the chrome was damaged on mine so thought I would give it a new lease of life

RE: Badge Re-spray - Matt - 09-05-2014

I hate the chrome also! Doesn't fit atall IMO. All mine have had black badges at some point Smile I love it, prefer Matt black to satin though!

Yeah looks a lot better Smile I went with satin as it's easier to keep clean

That's really nice! I originally was going to do the same metallic grey as my facia but I ran out of it. So I thought satin would be a subtle colour Smile

RE: Badge Re-spray - Rixgarage - 10-05-2014

looks nice

RE: Badge Re-spray - Josh1994 - 16-07-2014

was all of the badge sprayed or just the symbol and the outline?

RE: Badge Re-spray - Eeyore - 16-07-2014

looks good mate. now time to update your signature!

RE: Badge Re-spray - Piggy - 16-07-2014

Looks good...

Be curious how long it last not laquered vs stones!

I did the whole thing so it made it look all new Smile I'm doing the lion white tomorrow to go with my new car Smile

RE: Badge Re-spray - Josh1994 - 16-07-2014

oh right, how would you cover the other parts without getting spray on the badge except the lion?

Re: Badge Re-spray - kentiiboii - 16-07-2014

You seperate the surround and lions from the badge.

I always paint the honey comb part gloss black. Just looks nicer.

RE: Badge Re-spray - HDi--Power - 16-07-2014

Chrome all the way, anything else looks like a 17 year olds poor attempt at being cool

...in your opinion.

I've never been a massive fan of black badges, but it's each to their own and if they like it, that's what matters.

RE: Badge Re-spray - HDi--Power - 16-07-2014

Yes I'm still waiting for the law to be passed where I decide what is acceptable on a 306....... Some day Doh

RE: Badge Re-spray - Nathan1305 - 16-07-2014

Yeah I want to have the black outer and Blanca white lion to go with my car. It's just something I like Smile

RE: Badge Re-spray - Piggy - 17-07-2014

chrome does suit some 306s...but others it just makes look rover tackyish

RE: Badge Re-spray - pugdan95 - 27-07-2014
