alternator pulley - ct-hdi - 09-05-2014

right my alternator pulley is tweeting (sounds like a tensioner noise).. I cant see if there is a bolt without taking the alternator off..

So my question is, does the alternator pulley unbolt? and if so, is it possible to swap it with a clutch pulley such as: Pulley

This should solve my problem, reduce stress on the crank pulley when turning off, also, hopefully solve the problem of why my battery warning light comes on occasionally when it rains

thanks

I don't think the pulley unbolts. I think it is heated and shrunk on the shaft.

I've got a clutch type alternator the I would like to put on but the connections are slightly different to the ones that are on the car. Instead of two ring terminals there is one and a two pin connector. The alternator is off a 307.
