2001 Black HDI 3dr - HD-Aye! - 07-05-2014

I don't really want to do this as i have spent a fortune on it, and it’s a cracking car, and i know i won't get my money back but i recently moved very close to work (15mins walk) and My 200sx can no longer live in my mates garage so i have 2 cars parked outside. The 200sx will never be sold and i can’t justify having a diesel any more so the 306 has to go.

I am opening this thread to rustle up interest and to help me make a decision, i am in no major rush to sell, and it will be at least a month before she goes anywhere.

OK here goes:

Just renewed the tax so almost a year on it. It is in the lower bracket so £140.
MOT til October 2014, 161k on the clock, i could easily get a new ticket on it if required as i know it will fly through.

Before i bought the car:

New clutch
New high pressure pump
New Lift Pump
New crank bottom pulley
New Cam Belt
New Water Pump (all done in 2010 I bought the car in 2011)

I have owned this car for over 3 years and since owning it have done the following:

1. Brand New Front and rear Shocks and springs KYB
2. Brand New Top mounts both sides
3. Rear beam changed for GTI6 one
4. Brand New Drop links both sides
5. Brand New Poly bushed wishbones (Powerflex) both sides front and P.
6. New front wheel bearings both sides
7. Brand New Track Rod Ends both sides
8. Wiper motor (second hand)
9. Battery Brand New
10. Brand New Glow Plugs
11. Second hand low mileage freewheel Alternator out of 307
12. AC pump changed (AC still doesn’t work, but it was squeeking)
13. New aux belt
14. New Idler Pulley
15. New Tensioner Pulley
16. New Front Brake pads and discs (new pads again recently)
17. 3 Door Meridian half leather seats and door cards
18. Wind screen washers spray type
19. New middle pipe and retro made (a bit rusty) down pipe decatted
20. Stage 1 remap (Pro Steve)
21. EGR disconnected
22. Arianne 16's all round
23. New Falken tyres on front (1 year ago)
24. Brand New discs and pads rear
25. Brand New Starter Motor fitted (1 month ago)
26. Brand New drive shaft n/s and o/s
27. Laguna Splitter
28. Hawk Remote CL kit fitted
29. Oil Changes every 6-8k miles (fully synthetic oil)
30. 206 GTi Leather Steering Wheel
31. New brake light switch
32. Brand new OEM side repeaters fitted with bulb holders only a few weeks ago
33. Brand new Dip Stick
34. Bonnet changed for a better one, still not happy with it as it still has chips and a few minor
dents (i am a perfectionist)
35. Recently fitted with HID’s H7R’s so do the job well without blinding anyone
36. Also recently fitted with super bright LED sidelight bulbs (£10 a pair not cheap crap that blows after 2 mins)
37. 4 low mileage non rattle 076 injectors fitted with new copper washers.

Bad points:

It’s a 13 year old car, not mint, but in great condition considering.
People tend to hate you as it’s such a nice car.
I had a guy want to take pictures of it the other day at the supermarket as his mate had one and he wanted to show him what a good 306 should look like Big Grin

AC doesn’t work
Tiny 5p sized rust bubble on boot, accompanied by a light scratch.
3 minor dinks on the driver’s side rear quarter
2 weird looking dinks on the driver’s front wing

Thats all i can remember for now.

I would like as close to 1300 as poss, but open to suggestions and opinions.

If i am going to get peanuts for it then i will put it on steelies and take all the juicy bits off it.

Gutted that I've just bought a silver 5 door...we've got a thing for black cars in our household. Hope you find a good home for it.

Bump TTT. I had a potential buyer for this who has now backed out of the sale as he cant find the time to come and pick up. As said before I am in no major rush. I am willing to take £1000 for the car at the absolute minimum. This would include all the tastey mods. If you want to make me an offer below this we can consider options e.g. car without arrianes or without HID kit or both depending on offer.

At the asking price (£1000) you get everything and a few extras. I plan to give the car a good clean and polish in the coming days. I will then put up some new pics. Might even do an oil drop early and stick a new MOT on it. Anyway... bumpty bump! Smile
