As titled...
Never changed the oil on my XUD, going to be doing it next weekend, but how much oil should i be putting into the
engine???

They take 4.5 litres I think.
I've been using the 4 litre Castrol pots and have just been putting one of those in.

Buy 5 litres. 4.5 in the engine, .5 in the fuel tank

Sorry if i'm insulting your intelligence here, but thought it might be worth mentioning...
Stick in 4 litres to begin with, run the engine for a minute then leave it to settle for a while. Then check the dipstick - this'll give you a more accurate reading and mean you don't end up over-filling (you'll never get 100% of the old oil out, so won't need the whole 4.5l).

Going to change my oil in next few days changing oil filter at same time any recommendations for the filter or will any old filter from Halfords do the trick read 10w 40 was what was required

No trademark nut there are plenty off places up here like euro car parts so should be easy enough for me to get everything

Euro Car Parts and the filters made by MANN are my personal choice.
Always found their filters to be good, oil, fuel, air, pollent etc they're all pretty decent.
Blueprint stuff is good as well if you can find it.

Genuine filters are surprisingly cheap even retail prices! trade price from peugeot isn't much more than a factors price!
