Vortexes on 306 - Razorback_Rob - 22-04-2014

Hi guys. Bought my vortexes off of Danny2009 last year and need to know exactly what the minimum spacers I can run without catching on anything as the 20mm I have destroy the arches and tyres. I have read around that 10mm on back should do but I then see that the thread tangents off to talk about challengers instead and knowing that they are a different width I just wanted a straight answer. Anyone know what the minimum I can run on my 5 door without arches being rubbed away to oblivion front and back this is. I've already had suggested of ripping out the rear liners and undersealing but would like to avoid removing if possible and am very against removing the front ones after the horror I've found of salt deposits on top of my top mounts and in the door trap and behind my crystals, let's just say there's a hell of a lot. But anyone that has any idea, I'd be grateful . Many thanks Smile

I think 10mm is needed for the rears and the fronts are fine without spacers.

I run 20mm spacers on mine but the arches rolled

Needed 20 on front for mine tried a 10mm and it used to hit the coilovers

Hmm was looking at rolling arches or might be swapping with a lad on dturbo owners for challengers as they're easier to fit and he wants smooth/centreless. See what I think. L

Grind the lip off the arch or fit stretched tyres on back Smile

Just roll the lip of the arch up, problem solved.

Get an arch roller. Rolling my arches fixed everything!

Anyone have any pics of their arches rolled on a 306? (:

Mine are rolled but you can't really tell. The lip is just rolled flat at the back, front has a slight pull.

I don't have any close ups that show it better, although I could if needed.
