Coil Spring Tubing - nick000 - 19-04-2014 Where can I get the rubber tubing that sits over the top and bottom coils of front springs?? I have some used Eibachs to go on that don't have any. thanks Nick RE: Coil Spring Tubing - Toms306 - 19-04-2014 Not sure, but it's not really necessary, I've only ever seen it on eibachs tbh! RE: Coil Spring Tubing - bashbarnard - 20-04-2014 It's not a necessity and defiantly not there for safety reasoning but if you want to have some one there I think it's called spring insulator. Also if you can't find any maybe slide some heat shrink on there? Or this stuff? http://www.completeautomobilist.com/products/ca970-drevo-denso-tape RE: Coil Spring Tubing - daddyfixit - 20-04-2014 its to stop the paint scratching off the spring, allowing rust to lift paint off and let rust take hold---use some heatshrink as suggested. RE: Coil Spring Tubing - nick000 - 01-05-2014 Thanks All. Didnt put anyhting on in the end and no diiference to feel/drive. Next time they are appart i'll Kurust and paint if needed before heatshrink. Cheers Nick |
