Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 18-04-2014 Got my 2 sets of wheels for sale, as I'm not likely to put them on the focus. First up are my Lasers. In fair condition, might want a refurb, as a couple of them have curbing round the lip, will get some better pics when I've got my other camera and some more time. They're currently Vauxhall "Moonland Grey", and have 1 good T1r, two of the others are bald, and the third one has a bulge in the sidewall. [attachment=15553] [attachment=15554] After £50 for the set. Also for sale are my Ariannes, ive never had these on the car since buying them over a year ago, could never afford to put tyres on them. These come as a set of 5 wheels, 4 are powder coated white, the other is silver and curbed to f**k. The powder coat is almost perfect, with just one small curb mark on one wheel. I paid £150 for them, would like to make as much of that back as possible, but feel free to make me an offer, worst I can say is no. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - Pompey306mark - 18-04-2014 Ah I love my old ariannes. Hope you get a good price for them. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 18-04-2014 So do i mate, all proceeds from the sale of these are going towards the new car. I'm so gutted i never managed to get them on the car though. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - Danny2009 - 18-04-2014 If love the ariannes but too steep for me RE: Lasers and Ariannes - Connor - 18-04-2014 Rains are shit, noone buy them RE: Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 18-04-2014 Screw you Connor! Danny, pm me your best offer, you never know, I might take you up on it. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - Danny2009 - 18-04-2014 I'll have a think about it they need spacers? RE: Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 18-04-2014 I believe so, I have a pair of 20mm spacers that I can throw in with the wheels, no bolts though I'm afraid. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - Toms306 - 18-04-2014 Should only need small spacers on the rear, 5mm I think was on mine. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 18-04-2014 I was under the impression they needed about 15mm on the back, but could be run without spacing on the front. But as I say, I never got them on the car, so can't say for sure. Pompeymark is the guy to ask I suppose, or Connor. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - Connor - 18-04-2014 No they need 11.5mm spacers, no bigger, no smaller otherwise they wont fit. So better off just not buying them tbh RE: Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 18-04-2014 Hmm...i call bs. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - Pompey306mark - 18-04-2014 I ran 20mm on the rears and 17mm on the fronts. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 18-04-2014 Cheers mark. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - Toms306 - 18-04-2014 I think people run bigger than necessary for aesthetics though, they don't 'need' to be that big. Unless your beam's leaning anyway haha. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - jpc - 19-04-2014 I've got ariannes fitted; no spacers on the front & 5mm rear with no problems. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 21-04-2014 Anyone? All offers considered... RE: Lasers and Ariannes - Toms306 - 21-04-2014 Awaits '£2.60 and a Mars bar offer'...closely followed by 'can you post these for free?' RE: Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 21-04-2014 Lol, yeah but those offers will be quickly shot down. Maybe I should say "All SERIOUS offers considered!" Lasers and Ariannes - rocker8742 - 21-04-2014 Fancy posting the lasers for free? RE: Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 21-04-2014 Not sure about free, but I'm sure we can come to some kind of arrangement. Any idea what postage is likely to cost for a set of the heaviest wheels in the world? RE: Lasers and Ariannes - ash23 - 21-04-2014 woud love the lasers you happen to be at combe on saturday? RE: Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 21-04-2014 Not till FCS I'm afraid. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - Toms306 - 21-04-2014 Paisley charge £30.50 for anything up to 17s, plus packaging materials and the effort of wrapping the damn things about £35 - £40, which just isn't worth it on cheap wheels tbh. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 21-04-2014 Hmm, no not really. That's a bit rubbish. Although, having said that, as long as no one else beats me to it, i'll have the focus by June, so can bring either set of these wheels to FCS. Maybe even the next Ace meet. RE: Lasers and Ariannes - WiNgNuTz - 29-04-2014 Bump, Ariannes are potentially sold pending payment, any offers on the Lasers? Could be persuaded to meet halfway for collection, as really not worth postage costs. |
