140k xsi moonstone 3door - Matt - 20-03-2012

Right everyone knows what it's like.
The spec is
Xsi 2.0 16v
eBay coils down 75mm
KONI rear adjustables and down 90mm
Gti inlet Mani and throttle body
De-mid box and large bore exhaust
Mustang half leather
It's got 12 months tax
Mot till september

I have done so much to this car it's unreal!

Car with steelies £700

I also have lots of spares

Standard exhaust system
Standard xsi inlet
A remapped ecu
Spare head with cams
Gti exhaust manifold

For £120 can have all these spares too.

Could strip and make more than what I'm making but really can't be bothered.
Offers considered

Re: 140k xsi moonstone 3door - ginge191 - 20-03-2012

if this doesnt sell, and you end up breaking it - i know a guy that would take A LOT of it

140k xsi moonstone 3door - Matt - 20-03-2012

What would he need? He could give me an offer for the whole car? Could easily make back £700 on the parts on it.

Racelands
KONI adjustables
Gti inlet
Gti throttle body
Nearly new wishbones and bushes
Exhaust system
Gti brakes
Gti exhaust mani
Xsi refurbished head
Black interior trim
Cabby interior visiors
And a fair few other bits
Then scrap the sell for £150

Re: 140k xsi moonstone 3door - thms182 - 20-03-2012

I am that guy. This is tempting, need to start counting my coppers and see if I can afford this...

140k xsi moonstone 3door - Matt - 20-03-2012

Got it advertised at 900-800 on fb and other places. It's 700 to anyone on here

Re: 140k xsi moonstone 3door - ginge191 - 20-03-2012

absoloute bargain!

Re: 140k xsi moonstone 3door - thms182 - 20-03-2012

I really think I'm going to have to go for this, it's a lazy mans dream.

Re: 140k xsi moonstone 3door - Scott - 20-03-2012

Bearing in mind the work that has been put into it by all of us in the past year and the new parts which were fitted as part of that work, that's a really good price.

140k xsi moonstone 3door - Matt - 20-03-2012

Everything is spot on for the price, only thing that lets it down is the bodywork. It pulls through every gear and keeps up fairly well with my mates '6. I'd recommend buying all the parts I have spare too. As with all the parts fitted it would release a couple more ponies Big Grin

Re: 140k xsi moonstone 3door - thms182 - 20-03-2012

What body work problems are there?

140k xsi moonstone 3door - Matt - 21-03-2012

Two key marks Down o/s and one on n/s
And front bumper could do with replacing/respraying. But to be fair once it's clean and polished I don really notice it that much anymore. I have a wheel whores sticker on the bumper to cover the paint the scuffed lol. Looks the part

when you say in the garden... its still in servicable condition right?

if it is all good, can i have it when i get my loan in? around mid april (16th iirc) and ill come down and pick it up

140k xsi moonstone 3door - Matt - 21-03-2012

The head has been sat in the garden for about a week, still wet with oil Big Grin
And it's covered up.

Well if all goes to plan tomorrow, I think I will be breaking this instead of selling as there isn't much interest from anyone really.

Breaking I can get about 550-600 I worked out.
That's without the coilies as I'll prob keep them to lower the new can as its a monster truck at the moment lol

So anyone want any parts?
