as you may know i've given up on MYA but that's not to say she is not salvagable...
The lucas pump and injectors ive been advised are dodgy as she will NOT run right after having the cambelt done, i did have a refurbed bosch kit to go but the courier broke the pump - otherwise she would be running and i would throw her in for MOT
The car
- Car is on 125K FSH
- MOT expires on 25/04
- no road tax - car need trailering away anyway
- the car will NOT move under its own steam as the pulley/shaft of the pump has play so the engine cannot be timed and smokes - Zach has assured me the engine was locked off properly when the belt was done but the engine could be 1 tooth out as she sounds more tappy than she did pre-belt change
- just had a gates cambelt and aux kit fitted
- 5 dr rot has been sorted thanks to Poodles huge effort (thanks fella) and a full arch liner fitted
- partner p-bushes fitted
- uncommon ph2 1/2 leather interior (see pic)
- GTI6 back box fitted to a ph1 decat pipe - sounds great all the way through the rev range
- a pair of spare silver side skirts
- a silver passenger wing to replace the dented one
- darker silver lasers with very good tyres all around (pair of uniroyal rainsport 2's & pair of budgets as the worn bushes started ripping the tread), i also have a pair of mint rainsports to put back on the fronts
The Dilema
The car is at Zachs unit in Hereford with my tools and car audio and i am stuck in bristol.
So if you want the car i would need a deffo answer in the next 24hrs and the monies paid to me but YOU will be responsible for moving the car OR i will be forced to continue with whats already agreed - getting the car trailered to cheddar and scrapped as i have nowhere to keep and break her which is a shame with all the money spent/parts etc

KrisB and many others have commented over the years about how factory std this car is, down to the under bonnet stickers!
I will be asked for a price to list this thread but i have no idea due to the situation....£300 is a figure we could negotiate on

Too true Liam, it really annoys me about the courier and the pump, if they hadn't fecked the pump, MYA would still be on the road for now and the future plus she'd be worth more money!!!
So basically yodel have cost me a fair few hundred £'s for the sake of a few £ for a cheaper service...seriously pissed off !!!!

Just as a thought, why not get it scrapped in Hereford, Zak surely could sort that out and hold on to your audio/tools for a few days/weeks?
Saves transport costs?

The car needs to be gone from zachs this weekend and the paperwork is with me so it cannot be scrapped without it.
It is getting scrapped as no one wants it !!!

Indeed mate but i have been trying to get this sold since Sunday lol, just posted this yesterday. Zach and Matt have it now and most parts have sold already !
