Rolled arches/wide arches? - Dunning_93 - 30-03-2014

Has anyone got any pics of rolled arches or some form of wide arch kit on a GTi6, but not the dimma or maxi... Huh

Im really wanting to either fit quite wide 8.5j alloys to a 6 or go for 7j's and spacers, lowered 30 ish mm and 1 click on the torsion bar. Itwasntme

sitting low and wide Big Grin

cheers in advance guys Smile

Youd need some epic spacers to make 7j poke.
Im running 15mm and no poke. Undecided

You can fit pretty much whatever you like with enough work. I'm running 8J ET0 and it only needs a bit of a roll. Personally, any kits you can get won't really look very good. You will also need to go lower than 30 to pull it off, in my opinion.

low? did you leave out a 1 at the start of 30mm? im confused

Your not low enough, and 7j isn't wide enough to even warrant a wide arch kit or extensions.
There are plenty on here running at least 8j with just the archs rolled. Gunna have to go crazy offsets and a lot lower to pull it off

Loads of us have rolled arches, they look no different on the outside so not sure what your looking for a pic of. Got my front arches slightly pulled but it's very hard to show in a pic.

As for wide arch kits the dimma is the only one that should be allowed on a 306 and it's so wide spacers won't cut it, it uses modified suspension to make the track right.

cheers for the replies guys, im in the process of ideas at the moment.

how low is too low before ruining handling on 16" wheels?

Depends on your opinion of "ruining" and probably more on tyre size and how you lower it.
