Why won't this fit a 6?

RE: pugracing short shift - Niall - 29-03-2014

It will. You just need to remount the lift reverse bracket

RE: pugracing short shift - 7057sam - 30-03-2014

Yes apologise. If you do a bicycle brake handle thing for the reverse it would.

though my strictly oe looks so won't be needed

You can keep the stock lift up collar. Getting it off isn't too easy but its only glued onto the shaft (giggidy) so you just need to get that off and glue it back on.

As niall said. I had one on my 1st gti6. There alright but adjust it too much and you will catch the exhaust.

Worth noting, for me, the collars are too small.
i had to weld in some sleeves coz they kept coming loose.
