fuel cut off solenoid - dadaddy35 - 29-03-2014 Hi all was checking over my engine yesterday when I noticed a part attached by a wire behind the fuel pump. After a bit of research I've discovered it is the fuel cutoff solanoid. My question is it has one in the pump but looks like part of the pump has been cut away around the solanoid. the engine runs OK of not a little high on idle at 1k .so why have 2 attached and is it safe to remove the old one.
