Pitted Trail arm shaft - pugtk - 19-03-2014

I've a very slightly pitted trail arm shaft, probably could just stick it back together, but I don't want to wreak new bearings in a couple of months. would chemical metal be good enough just to fill the small imperfections and then polish it up?

unlikely it'll be strong enough, shaft and a bearing kit is only £40 or so on ebay.

Chemical metal will just ruin new bearings quicker than the worn shaft will.

Get a rebuild kit like this. Will definitely be a trustworthy beam then...
