Quick question - iigodiix - 17-03-2014

Question guys I'm Thinking about upgrading my brakes to the 4 pot brembos, do I need the reservoirs? And would the front old calipers fit on the back?

RE: Quick question - THE_Liam - 17-03-2014

Moved to correct section.

RE: Quick question - iigodiix - 17-03-2014

I'm a noob

RE: Quick question - 306Dan - 17-03-2014

Are you thinking of the 406 brembos?

RE: Quick question - Toms306 - 17-03-2014

Front callipers won't fit the back. They won't have the handbrake mechanism either.

Not sure about the Brembo's though, I think people run the with the gti master cylinder but not sure.

RE: Quick question - iigodiix - 18-03-2014

RE: Quick question - HDi--Power - 18-03-2014

Will work fine with a 25mm Master cylinder from a gti/ newer HDi, just watch for wheel clearance as they are wiiiiide

I've got the 15s gti wheels hopefully they fit lol
Thanks again

RE: Quick question - HDi--Power - 18-03-2014

They wont fit without spacers with those wheels Doh

RE: Quick question - Seb_Ryan - 18-03-2014

I'm 99% sure brembos won't fit under cyclone wheels

RE: Quick question - HDi--Power - 18-03-2014

10mm spacers and they will just about clear! Its not the circumference is the issue, its the width, they are huge!

Why is that mate? Lol

RE: Quick question - 306Dan - 18-03-2014

They squeal quite badly on standard discs

I was thinking about drilled and vented discs anyways and better pads. But that's for the advice!

Quick question - SupaStar88 - 27-03-2014
