The amount of hassle to tax a car without all the docs is ridiculous... I done it with the silver Golf (no V5 as just bought and green slip got lost) and Rowells estate (no MOT cert)... The amount of time and fuel used doing it it'd probably have been cheaper to take the 'no tax' fine! ![]() RE: Taxing car with no reminder or logbook - HDIkyle - 03-03-2014 I can relate there. The hassle I went thu and numerous trips to the dvla office when it was there was a joke. In the end I left it months after I scrapped the car just kept the logbook sorn as they just mess people about. RE: Taxing car with no reminder or logbook - padge - 03-03-2014 I didn't have a logbook or reminder due to being in the process of reg transfer, I rang them up as tax was due out, and she said I had to wait for logbook to come back with new plate on before I could tax it, so no reminder, no book, no tax. RE: Taxing car with no reminder or logbook - Sian - 03-03-2014 I had a no tax fine £80 ![]() RE: Taxing car with no reminder or logbook - Toms306 - 03-03-2014 (03-03-2014, 10:24 PM)Sian Wrote: I had a no tax fine £80 Takes ages to get one though, and I'm guessing Kyle cant wait 3 weeks for his tax lol.
