Knackered crank pulley? - underground375 - 19-02-2014

Hi all just noticed my crank pulley is shaking it's tit's off really bad! Would this course any performance trouble or engine wobble? As it may be related to my strange wobble of the car at low rpm?

If you're lucky it'll give you performance trouble by taking out the cambelt lol. If it's causing the aux belt to slip then it may cause it to hesitate sometimes - that could be causing the engine shake in the same way, but only if you've got a knackered engine mount already.

Picking one up tomorrow. Im getting a knock coming from the front o/s which I reckon is drive shaft as it doesn't do it much over pot holes Wink

Thats probably your top engine mount then. Try stepping on and off the accelerator quickly, if it knocks its your top mount gone.

Well ive just had the o/s wheel off and there about half a cm of play in the drive shaft, (Hub end) The bolts tight! That cant be normal can it?
