Setting up 11mm - HDIkyle - 10-02-2014
Bosch pump, Starts up but smokes a grey white constantly. Will idle for abit around 1k then the revs will drop to 500 and eventually cut out. When restarted will idle shit unless the throttle is held on but it smokes badly and runs quite rough and knocks quite loud. I have had a go at turning the max fuel in but just raises the idle to around 1.2k when cold and still struggles and cuts out when warmed.
Whats the trick to rid the bad smoking i believe this is the timing? Belts all good ect so is it just backwards or forwards on the bracket?
Did have a leak but fixed that so i dont believe its getting air in at all.

If it's timed up right advance the pump (towards engine) till smoke goes

Air ingress.
Banjo bolt on the advance solenoid line wasn't secure

How long did it take you to work that out? 30seconds?
