2004 MK4 Golf GT TDI 130 (170) - Bengley - 04-02-2014 Mk4 Golf (Jan 2004) GT TDI 130 (remapped to ~170BHP). As you can see the paintwork isn't great. It's not as bad as it looks, I've covered scratches up with Hammerite like a boss. Covered 186,700 miles, increasing daily. Engine runs like new, it was remapped and had cambelt changed at approx 150,000 miles and has been with me running perfectly ever since. It has a steel sump as the aluminium ones break too easily and has no oil level sensor as a result of this. Not a problem and can be mapped out. Fell off jack onto a wheel which made a horrific dent in the sill on the passenger side. Numpty van driver reversed into me and dented driver side rear door. Got new door for it so it's not dented anymore but it's slightly the wrong shade of silver. Passenger side rear door doesn't unlock - needs door card taking off and looking at. Doesn't affect me because I am the driver, I don't sit in the back and thus it's the passenger who has to shuffle across' problem. Sucks to be them. Also has engine light showing as EGR has been removed but not mapped out. Airbag and ESP lights showing as Clock Spring behind steering wheel was broken recently by garage putting it back on incorrectly. Just had two new lower arms fitted yesterday and track rod end on passenger side. Two new tyres on front. Not gonna lie, it looks like turd but runs perfectly, has never let me down. Also has a double din touchscreen stereo with bluetooth and handsfree which I may include with the car depending on whether I swap or sell. Tax until end of March, MOT until March 14th. I got the lower arms changed with the intention of making it pass the MOT but after doing nearly 40,000 miles in it I'm a bit bored of it and am concerned it may not pass the MOT due to the airbag light. I'm sure there's someone out there who wants a diesel workhorse who doesn't care how bad the car looks and can be bothered to sort out the airbag light. Interior isn't as bad as it looks, it's just not been hoovered or cleaned in months and the flash on my camera brings out the dirt. PM me for more details, though I think I've gone into a fair amount of detail here! Car based in Hailsham, Sussex. I'm more interested in swapping for a Dturbo if anyone here fancies it, but would consider selling - PM me for details. Looking for £1,500 alternatively make a sensible offer of cash or swap. RE: 2004 MK4 Golf GT TDI 130 (170) - THE_Liam - 05-02-2014 Hi mate, as in the rules you need to put a price or the thread will be removed. RE: 2004 MK4 Golf GT TDI 130 (170) - karl1989 - 05-02-2014 Interested in a HDI? RE: 2004 MK4 Golf GT TDI 130 (170) - Bengley - 05-02-2014 I would consider an Hdi yes. PM me with details. Ta Price added. RE: 2004 MK4 Golf GT TDI 130 (170) - WiNgNuTz - 05-02-2014 No offence mate, but if you're not going to take the selling rules seriously, then your thread will be deleted. I don't know what price to put. I am more in the market for a swap and I'm sure there's someone on the forum who wants to swap for a 306. I will adjust the price but maybe the rules need looking at for people who want to swap. RE: 2004 MK4 Golf GT TDI 130 (170) - WiNgNuTz - 05-02-2014 Fair enough, but just make a rough guess at what you think the car is worth. If you over judge it, you won't run the risk of selling yourself short. I haven't read the whole ad, but I'd put a rough guide price of maybe £750 on it. That way people have scope to make an offer, and you (hopefully) won't be too out of pocket. If you end up swapping, so be it. I'd like the 205 back of course it was awesome, but I need something sensible unfortunately. Your fault or not? Not my fault. Hailstorm caused people to slow down to 5mph/stop on a dual carriageway. I stopped with plenty of time (both lanes were blocked) but the guy behind me braked too late and slid right into the back of me.
