D-turbo blocked heater matrix? - Matt-Rallye - 31-01-2014
Hi all,
The heaters on my dturbo basically dont work. once engine is warm they blow hot for a split second then cold again,
I have tried bleeding the system but too no avail, water is getting warm and temp sits around 80-90 degrees when driving.
I have come too the conclusion that the heater matrix is blocked / not flowing properly so my question is whats the safest and best way too flush out a heater matrix on a Dturbo? as the pipes look like a pig to get at.

You can pull the pipes off on the bulkhead and stick a hose in there to try and flush it out. I done it with a hose, pressure washer, kettle the lot. Ended up just changing it :/
