Guide on brake replacement - Whodafunk - 20-01-2014 Is there a how to guide on replacing the front and rear brake discs and pads? I'm assuming there's not much to it but wouldn't mind reading up on it before I tackle it. I have discs on the rear not drums. RE: Guide on brake replacement - Piggy - 20-01-2014 Have you ever done it on any other vehiclea before? RE: Guide on brake replacement - Toms306 - 20-01-2014 There isn't a brake guide on here as far I know. It's pretty simple though, can't really get it wrong tbh, except the pain in the ass clip for the rear pads. Also there might be a guide on a certain other forum. ![]() ![]() RE: Guide on brake replacement - Whodafunk - 20-01-2014 Yeah I've done pads and discs a couple of times on my 406 coupe. Looking at the rear pads on the 306 however the retaining clips look abit strange and it wasn't obvious what was keeping the pads in the caliper RE: Guide on brake replacement - Alan_M - 20-01-2014 (20-01-2014, 06:41 PM)Whodafunk Wrote: Yeah I've done pads and discs a couple of times on my 406 coupe. RE: Guide on brake replacement - Whodafunk - 20-01-2014 Do the clips just flick off once the L bar is off? RE: Guide on brake replacement - nath86 - 20-01-2014 id look on youtube or google it, plenty of guides on the internet, its simple stuff, just make sure everything is checked over twice as you cant make mistakes when dealing with brakes ![]() RE: Guide on brake replacement - Mattcheese31 - 21-01-2014 buy a haynes manual, easy job though . . ![]() |
