What would you pay - GTi 6. - ginge191 - 18-01-2014 Seen a car, deabting whether to go for it or not; GTi6, diablo red. important bits; T&T - til feb, interior is alright, standard casette player, electrics seem to be working besides remote for CL. Grooved discs, decent cyclones. Exterior has seen better days; only lacquer peel; underside is faily immauclate, rear end is clean underneath. Work needed; 2 new front tyres for sure, both very bald And it sounds to have a small exhaust blow no biggy. and possibly brake pads. Engine is on 53k, i know.... impressive.. water/oil both look very clean, no dodgy smells, engine sounds as it should but no cambelt history as of yet. Anyway, some pics.. I'd rid the morettes for crystals and work on removing the tints RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - WiNgNuTz - 18-01-2014 Let me get this straight.....Morettes, tints, grooved discs........and a cassette player?!?! Personally, i probably wouldnt spend more than about £800 on that....and thats at a push! RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - WiNgNuTz - 18-01-2014 hmm...fair enough...still wouldnt spend much more than £800 on it, especially considering the work thats gonna need to be done. Whats she asking for it? What would you pay - GTi 6. - Frosty - 18-01-2014 Maybe a bit less than £800 as first thing to do would be get the cambelt changed and t&t is up next month. I would say 600/700 wouldn't be to bad with the main plus being the low milage RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - WiNgNuTz - 18-01-2014 Thats kinda what i meant....£800 as an absolute ceiling price. Made sense in my head. RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - Toms306 - 18-01-2014 The reg looks familiar... Is there another R***OKV here? Anyway, laquer peeled ph2 that needs a 'belt change I'd pay no more than £600 tbh. RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - Nadine - 18-01-2014 deffo no more than about £600. I bought one in better condition, higher miles with more test and had a cam belt done for £300 RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - ginge191 - 18-01-2014 (18-01-2014, 12:39 PM)Nadine Wrote: deffo no more than about £600. Think thats how i managed to knock him down a wee bit more. Plus he had a new car and had no where to keep it so just wanted rid. If im honest, i dont think he knew how good the car was, coz if he did, he would deffo have gotten more. Not as good as my £140 bargain 6. to be fair that one was needing a lot of work done RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - ginge191 - 18-01-2014 touche! Yeh often '6 's are hit and miss cars; not everyone likes them too much, others can't get enough of them! RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - Nadine - 18-01-2014 touche? sorry didnt mean to come across annoyed or anything lol. RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - Matt - 18-01-2014 Looks good to me Also Swap morretes for my black masks? RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - Tom - 18-01-2014 Yeah i'd agree with the above 600/700 would be better, tax is 123.75 then an mot 40 then cambelt kit and fitting 200 ish maybe? Want some bad haha Anyway! Get the damn car already! Need bwarps RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - Dum-Dum - 18-01-2014 As above, If the mileage wasn't so low it would be worth £5-600 so its how much do you want the low mileage which considering the owner hasn't given a stuff about it I'd be looking for a cheaper higher miler. The miles being the main thing! You all said you would only give me £600 for the china two weeks later look what i got your all wrong RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - HDIkyle - 19-01-2014 What's wrong with a cassette player! RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - HDIkyle - 19-01-2014 In my estate I have one of them.cassettes with lead to plug into the phone. It's great RE: What would you pay - GTi 6. - Toms306 - 19-01-2014 You plug your phone into the car? Man I feel old... Then again, I remember one of my Dads cars having a car phone...literally a wired telephone under the seat! |
