Astor drivers door handle - Carlos182 - 15-01-2014

As title really, just managed to snap mine opening the door.

How hard are they to change too? Presume it's a doorcard off jobbie?

RE: Astor drivers door handle - Matt - 15-01-2014

Door card off, two bolts (if you are lucky) two rivets (if you are unlucky) undo those, pop the old handle out and off the locking pin, insert new handle and job done

It's more fiddly than anything. But easy enough.

If you can get a child to do it it's fine. Having big hands doesn't help

RE: Astor drivers door handle - Carlos182 - 15-01-2014

I need a new handle first haha!

I just painted a black one moonstone was easier than finding one

RE: Astor drivers door handle - Toms306 - 15-01-2014

Are there any 306s left with a drivers door handle after this colder weather? lol

RE: Astor drivers door handle - Carlos182 - 15-01-2014

Thinking about wrapping both handles. That way they'll at least sort of match haha.
