I fancy having a go at creating my own website, nothing fancy just a basic business info page really, I already have a domain name so now I need a web host, here it gets a bit confusing there's loads of them, all promising the world ( well the world wide web
), so how to choose? host review sites are next to useless as it seems they base their reviews on ad revenue received making it almost impossible to get a unbiased opinion. Popular budget hosts like ipage, inmotion, fat cow, blue host, go daddy et al all seem much of a muchness so I'm tempted to simply go on price, currently the cheapest option is ipage offering a years hosting inc word press web builder for just under £17, this is the cheapest I can find but doesn't include domain privacy £10 extra, so are there any web developers out there with some advice/guidance for a web newbie.
