RE: Breaking Cabriolet Green.. Lowered Smooth bonnet.. - Piggy - 08-01-2014

just FYI: cabby beams have gti TBs but much smaller ARB than a gti

seems a shame to break...looks quite nice, and I dont like cabbys!

RE: Breaking Cabriolet Green.. Lowered Smooth bonnet.. - Chris1357 - 08-01-2014

Didnt realise they had a smaller ARB, Learn somthing everyday eh?
Those pics were when it first had a respray, I'll upload better ones Saturday.
Chris

Again....why is it people insist on selling stuff i want when i have no money?!?! Censored

I'd have snapped that smooth bonnet and grill up without a moments hesitation if i'd had some money! I assume that is £50 for both? Or are you expecting extra for the grill?

In fact, could you make sure you update your first post with a list of parts available with prices asap please, as per the sellers rules outlined in the sticky thread at the top of the for sale section.

Thanks. Smile

RE: Breaking Cabriolet Green.. Lowered Smooth bonnet.. - Chris1357 - 08-01-2014

Not looked at the grille as of yet but I know its cracked, Need to see the car in the light. (picked it up in the dark-rain)

RE: Breaking Cabriolet Green.. Lowered Smooth bonnet.. - londondan86 - 11-01-2014

I need the hose that goes from the pump to the roof lid ram. Can't remember which number but I'll check the book later.
Possibly the axle if you'll take a deposit and keep it for me til the end of the month and if there's a decent ss exhaust I'll have that too!!

RE: Breaking Cabriolet Green.. Lowered Smooth bonnet.. - Chris1357 - 11-01-2014

Yeah get a number for the roof hose mate, Rear beam I have someone asking about it at the mo, Its got a home made exhaust on it which sounds good but its a twin.
Chris

RE: Breaking Cabriolet Green.. Lowered Smooth bonnet.. - londondan86 - 11-01-2014

Any pics of the exhaust, I take it that it goes with that bumper. Maybe a deal on both to be had. Wink

The hose I need is "N"

RE: Breaking Cabriolet Green.. Lowered Smooth bonnet.. - Chris1357 - 11-01-2014

Will get a picture in the morning, The tips are missing though they used to fill the bumper.
Hose N no probs will sort it.
Bumper is £40 Exhaust is £20.

RE: Breaking Cabriolet Green.. Lowered Smooth bonnet.. - londondan86 - 11-01-2014

Yea cheers bud, may well be interested. Does the exhaust mate up to the standard system?

RE: Breaking Cabriolet Green.. Lowered Smooth bonnet.. - Chris1357 - 12-01-2014

Dan Image of the Exhaust.. I thought it was home made, But its a Powerflow system just missing the tips. Pipe work I think is 2.5"
I had to cut the centre section off as it was knacked, but left plenty of pipe work for it to be mated to the standard centre.
