I find spelling Peugeot incorrectly brings up LOADS of bits.

RE: Cyclones - Eeyore - 07-01-2014

bargains.

RE: Cyclones - 9Freedman9 - 07-01-2014

I like my cyclones, easy enough to clean and the tyre price is decent even for high spec, a bugger to balance though.

I have a full set of Cyclone that I stopped using because they couldn't be balanced by by tyre fitter. Apparently its a known problem!?

You guys aware of it?

RE: Cyclones - silverzx - 07-01-2014

They need a 4 stud adapter thingy as they don't have a centre cap.

RE: Cyclones - BigTallPaul - 08-01-2014

Do most tyre fit place have this then or is it something I need to acquire?

Paul

RE: Cyclones - adamm306 - 08-01-2014

A good tyre place will have one

RE: Cyclones - padge - 08-01-2014

I think theres one place in south Yorkshire that balance clones, luckily its 10 minutes away from me lol.

RE: Cyclones - mr_fish - 08-01-2014

I have a very friendly tyre balancing place about 20 minutes from me and he does cyclones. Its like a hub that they bolt the wheel to.

RE: Cyclones - ben306 - 08-01-2014

I've a set that need a refurb for £50 if anyone is after some. Used them as my old track wheels, but as I've run 4 pots for the last 2 years they have been sat in the cellar.

RE: Cyclones - powerandtorque - 08-01-2014

Balancing Cyclones or any other centerless wheel isn't difficult and most major tyre places will have the adapter needed to do so, it's just that the monkeys doing the work can't be bothered to spend the extra few minutes that it takes to set the balancing machine up and hence either claim it can't be done or do a shockingly bad job.

I used to have access to a tyre balancing machine and have done various Peugeot wheels, so I've been there and done that so to speak.

Saying that, Cyclones seem to be made from cheese and plenty out there with slight buckles in that won't help whatsoever when trying to balance them - check any that you buy carefully as I've seen quite a few now with flat spots on the inner edges thanks to our glorious pothole ridden roads Sad

RE: Cyclones - L.J - 09-01-2014

anyone know where I can buy the bolt on adapter to balance my cyclones?
I have my own tyre machine for changing and balancing wheels so I might look into purchasing one of these next

RE: Cyclones - Poodle - 09-01-2014

Have you tried the place you got the machine from?

RE: Cyclones - dwanepipe - 08-02-2014

Thinking of selling my cyclones. White . Good tyres . Not sure what they are worth as wanting 17's on . As had to raise suspension . Now looks standard with white alloys
