Slimline fans - Niall - 27-12-2013 Whats the biggest set of fans you can fit on a GTi radiator? RE: Slimline fans - Matt - 27-12-2013 Can fit single 15" slim or two 10" iirc RE: Slimline fans - Piggy - 27-12-2013 I got two 12" fans on my xud rad if that helps? RE: Slimline fans - Tom - 27-12-2013 Think the lynx kits come with 2 10inchers! Yeah confirmed :p http://www.lynxpowerengineering.co.uk/LowBoost.pdf RE: Slimline fans - Niall - 27-12-2013 Spot on cheers mate RE: Slimline fans - Chris - 27-12-2013 2 12"s will fit fine RE: Slimline fans - darrenjlobb - 27-12-2013 Get genuine SPAL ones. The cheapy aftermarket ones are poop...make a wracket, and move shit all air.... RE: Slimline fans - Chris - 27-12-2013 The one I bought were £40 ebay jobbies, worked miles better than the standard fans and quieter too. Slimline fans - ArmzSC6 - 30-12-2013 On my charged 6 there are 2x10" SPAL slimline fans but I would say there is just about room for 12" ones in there. In the height of summer their not as good as the standard fans were at keeping engine temps down. RE: Slimline fans - BigTallPaul - 08-01-2014 I also use 2 x 12" and am very happy with the results. Apparently fans with flat blades make more noise than thise with a twist to the blades!? Doesn't bother me as the car is way louder than my fans! Paul |
