Pinch bolt torque? - titch - 24-12-2013 After Christmas i will be fitting a new drivers side hub. I have found the torque figure for the ball joint pinch bolt( 23 lb ft), but can find the correct torque for the pinch bolt that joins the hub to the shock. Does anyone know what it should be please. The car is a 2001 HDI if that makes any difference. Cheers Titch RE: Pinch bolt torque? - Paul_13 - 24-12-2013 Should be the same as a 205 which is 58nm (43lbft) RE: Pinch bolt torque? - titch - 24-12-2013 (24-12-2013, 12:39 PM)Paul_13 Wrote: Should be the same as a 205 which is 58nm (43lbft) Nice one thanks, Going to have to borrow a bigger torque wrench off my old man then Titch RE: Pinch bolt torque? - Paul_13 - 24-12-2013 Just make sure you do the ball joint pinch bolt to 35nm or it'll result in an ovalled hub!
