Handbrake help - thomson - 19-12-2013

Hey all, handbrake is poor only really works on the n/s. Now I have replaced the pads and discs caliper on the o/s and cables, I've adjusted it by slacking of the cable starting the engine pushing the foot brake and holding it then tightening the cable and this worked perfectly for about a week now it's back to normal. Any help or pointers?

There's not that much to the handbrake on disc'd 306s.

Worth checking the cables are not the same each side (Had this before on a 205). They are not the same length each side.

If not that, unhook the cables from the non-working caliper and try working the handbrake mechanism (the little lever). Sometimes it'll free up, sometimes not.
