HELP Drill Bit Set - silverzx - 18-12-2013 My Dad wants some drill bits for Xmas, not really sure what to go for.. My personal favourite I've found so far is this: http://www.screwfix.com/p/erbauer-combination-drill-bit-set-metal-case-134-piece-set/52445 A cheaper alternative would be: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10151&storeId=10001&productId=162656&langId=-1 Can anyone give any reccomendations or opinions on the Erbauer set? Cheers!! RE: HELP Drill Bit Set - Titch161086 - 18-12-2013 dont buy cheep. go for the screwfix set RE: HELP Drill Bit Set - Dum-Dum - 18-12-2013 How much of a set does he want? RE: HELP Drill Bit Set - jamesgmg - 18-12-2013 These are a bit of a bargain at the moment for £5! I got 2 sets the other day. http://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-drill-bit-set-75-pieces/35405?kpid=35405&cm_mmc=Google-_-Product%20Listing%20Ads-_-Sales%20Tracking-_-sales%20tracking%20url&gclid=CJiV2PbPubsCFdOWtAodIVoADg RE: HELP Drill Bit Set - Dum-Dum - 18-12-2013 This bosch set could be good http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bosch-2607019330-Titanium-100-Piece-XLine-Drill-Screwdriver-Bitset-Accessories-/370935444472?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item565d79b3f8 RE: HELP Drill Bit Set - silverzx - 18-12-2013 (18-12-2013, 11:04 AM)jamesgmg Wrote: These are a bit of a bargain at the moment for £5! RE: HELP Drill Bit Set - Daniel306 - 18-12-2013 I use dormer drills, they don't take a good sharpen tho RE: HELP Drill Bit Set - Danny Wideboy - 18-12-2013 That bosch set seems no good if you want a hole drilling bigger than 10mm but smaller than 16mm,nothing in between. Other one can't be beat for a fiver can it? RE: HELP Drill Bit Set - mikey b - 18-12-2013 I got a set of dewalt one bloody good but not cheap RE: HELP Drill Bit Set - Uberderv - 18-12-2013 These would probably be a decent set www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cht383-19pce-cobalt-steel-drill-bit-se Cobalt bits take alot of abuse off me in work on a daily basis :-) RE: HELP Drill Bit Set - Niall - 18-12-2013 Don't bother with Makita bits. I bought their 20 quid set for work a few months ago when i needed a few and they lasted all of about 30 seconds. I had a CK set before that and they were really good! Just a shame the guys in my office think a set of CK metal bits will do everything including masonry |
