hdi to xud - tysonbully2k12 - 12-12-2013 was thinking of swapping engines, currently has a hdi engine, will a xantia d turbo engine fit straight in? what have i got to change? is it more effort than its worth? RE: hdi to xud - Dum-Dum - 13-12-2013 Essentially its a straight swap especially if its a ph2 DTurbo with a bosch. Youll need the engine and deciding which clutch and fly wheel your going to use (with the appropriate cable and selector arm) A DT down pipe Ph2 DTurbo clocks DTurbo in tank pick up and it all gets very easy (plug and play) if you have a ph2 DTurbo engine loom and just plug it into the NSF chassis leg As for it its worth it that will be down to personal preference over the engines. Just bear in mind that you are likely to destroy any resale value of the car.
