Call me nuts project. - underground375 - 11-12-2013 Hi all I no this is a 306 forums but some off you maybe interested in my new project which will be started in the next 2 to 3 days. This project will not be what you may say 'normal' at all. It's what I like to call a blank sheet. Ill let the pictures do the talking. As you can see its a mrk2 gti in black, but it gets better. Its only half complete well the out side anyway . Why you ask? Well the body working (Whats left of it) Is pretty straight. Will need the engine and gear box interior clocks centre console, gti interior, odd trim bits, steering wheel, ecu and transponder. A very small list of whats needed. The car it's self cost me £30 as its still got - the tail gate the full gti kit. So that's pretty much what I payed for. So yeah a project with a difference. This car will not be finished in a month or 2 this will be a long term project with stuff happening most days. and regular updates. The car will be staying black and pretty much kepted standard. Im not 100% sure yet if I will turn it into a track car. Will need to see how it gos for now ![]() RE: Call me nuts project. - td_dan - 11-12-2013 iv got some ph3 clocks RE: Call me nuts project. - Dum-Dum - 11-12-2013 Thats gonna be a big project. Gonna go for a standard engine or something special? RE: Call me nuts project. - Chris_90 - 11-12-2013 Drop an xud in it ![]() RE: Call me nuts project. - underground375 - 11-12-2013 Well for the amount of parts out there for a gti and quick silver, it would probley be best to put the 1.6 16v lump in. I was thinking about putting a xud lump in but the amount of time needed on this car I just wouldn't get round to welding engine mounts in ![]() |
