RE: Injector cleaning - THE_Liam - 10-12-2013

If it's a refurb it's good, but it's a lot for a clean mate...

RE: Injector cleaning - karl1989 - 10-12-2013

RE: Injector cleaning - Piggy - 10-12-2013

RE: Injector cleaning - Lego Jon - 10-12-2013

Christ id like to get mine sorted. I bet after 256k they're coked to f*ck kol

Injector cleaning - Sambarker - 10-12-2013

Send them to Dan!

RE: Injector cleaning - Poodle - 10-12-2013

That's not an awful price for cleaning common rail injectors, the going rate for a cheap refurb is about £70 per injector. Most places around here charge about £100 per injector unless you're getting a set done.

RE: Injector cleaning - DeeTurbo - 11-12-2013

Does any one know what they class as cleaning?

I have de-coked and ultrasonic cleaned the nozzles on mine before.

RE: Injector cleaning - Lego Jon - 12-12-2013

Who's Dan?

RE: Injector cleaning - Poodle - 12-12-2013

It's Dan!, not Dan? lol. He's a member of this forum who works for a diesel specialists, isn't on here much, but is pretty good for picking up pms.

RE: Injector cleaning - Lego Jon - 12-12-2013

Ohhh. I might have to enquire. Would need a set though as it's a daily... makes more sense to get a new set really... 256k on my current ones (I guess) ...

RE: Injector cleaning - Poodle - 12-12-2013

Hahah forget about new ones, Bosch want about £1600 for a set iirc. Can get refurbs for about £300 the set, or low mileage ones for about £150.

RE: Injector cleaning - Lego Jon - 12-12-2013

:S Holy Carp... low mileage it is... or speak to Dan! Lol

RE: Injector cleaning - Poodle - 12-12-2013

Lol yeah man, fooking ridonculous price. Confused

Injector cleaning - Sambarker - 14-12-2013

RE: Injector cleaning - Whodafunk - 15-12-2013

I swear by regular doses of injector cleaner on the diesels

Off the top of my head BG44k is the stuff

RE: Injector cleaning - Poodle - 15-12-2013

You'll kill the hp system with that stuff, Bosch specifically warn against using injector cleaner type products.
