Just picked up a complete ph1 Dt cheap and im gonna convert it.

Few questions

: does the rev counter still work?

RE: ph3 Xud conversion - 1616six - 08-12-2013

Have a look at my old threads for full conversion details, it was over a year ago now but il try and remember..

You'll need to use XUD clocks to get the rev counter to work, everything on the HDI clocks will work bar revs.

Passenger inner wing wiring plugs straight in, you'll need the Bitron/bsi unit from the inner wing of the donor car too.

We had to use the lower rad pipe & possibly the rad from the xud but I can't honestly remember if it was rad or not.

Exhaust just use the cat/decat from the xud, it will bolt straight up to your HDI centre section

Car side?

You don't need to touch the loom, unplug both engines at the passenger wing plug, you don't need to change anything else loom wise.

ph1 engine loom

needs to be ph2 xud clocks, not ph1

Ah that'd be because the HDi is a far superior engine, would have thought that was obvious. :p

RE: ph3 Xud conversion - Piggy - 09-12-2013

I hope, pray, train myself, to never give in to the HDi!!! lmao
