Anyone know much about these??
Its a 2005 407 SW HDI 2.0 16v (136ps)
Got the hydraulic PAS pump fitted on the left chassis leg so to speak as you look in the engine bay.
Basically its lost PAS altogether. Garage has told him he needs a new pump but it needs programming in.
He has asked if he just buys a warranted second hand pump...£130 as opposed to £600+vat for a new one...if I can just replace it for him...without coding it in...
anyone know?! I'm doing it as a favor.

think it would definately need programming - afaik the ecu's are all connected and the car will throw a spaz if it's not all good
