Touching. Not sure I could do that, imagine if you fail at restoring it when all the family want is to see you complete a loved ones dream.

I have seen a few things like this before, some have ended up like dum dum said and others have survived.
fair play for him for having a go, but if the lad has been wanting one for ages, and his mate had one to restore but sadly died, so in a way its a match for him and the car. plus a bonus that the car his mate wanted to restore is been done.
so I recon this project is in safe hands, just like it was with the previous owner.

Yeah it's nice to know the lads project will get finished. It's pretty awesome too, everyone knows my love of old American cars, 5.9 V8 ftw!
