Project thread with a touching story... - THE_Liam - 03-12-2013 Just read this and thought it was worth posting here, what a great reason to take on a project... http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/159914/cherokee-chief-episode-new-hope RE: Project thread with a touching story... - Dum-Dum - 03-12-2013 Touching. Not sure I could do that, imagine if you fail at restoring it when all the family want is to see you complete a loved ones dream. RE: Project thread with a touching story... - procta - 03-12-2013 I have seen a few things like this before, some have ended up like dum dum said and others have survived. fair play for him for having a go, but if the lad has been wanting one for ages, and his mate had one to restore but sadly died, so in a way its a match for him and the car. plus a bonus that the car his mate wanted to restore is been done. so I recon this project is in safe hands, just like it was with the previous owner. RE: Project thread with a touching story... - Matt - 03-12-2013 Seen this happen before. Think I read the story in fast car lol RE: Project thread with a touching story... - THE_Liam - 03-12-2013 Yeah it's nice to know the lads project will get finished. It's pretty awesome too, everyone knows my love of old American cars, 5.9 V8 ftw! RE: Project thread with a touching story... - Grant - 03-12-2013 (03-12-2013, 03:14 PM)Dum-Dum Wrote: Touching.
