Welded wastegate questions - scottbmxer - 02-12-2013 How will pressure escape if the wg is welded? What disadvantages are there? More geat, less fuel? RE: Welded wastegate questions - Danny2009 - 02-12-2013 It can't escape it's welded shut.... You have to set the boost levels with fuel RE: Welded wastegate questions - Dave - 02-12-2013 Try and keep the wastegate as a general rule. Really totally depends what turbo you use to how it will change your boost levels. Re: Welded wastegate questions - scottbmxer - 02-12-2013 Im referring to a td04 which is used as a run around RE: Welded wastegate questions - Dave - 02-12-2013 Depends which sized td04. If its small and you weld it, you boost will be too high too soon (quick spooling turbo) meaning you have to limit your fuel in order to limit your boost. It's it's a large td04 then no wastegate will be fine. RE: Welded wastegate questions - Jesskendall123 - 12-01-2014 Was going to ask same question thanks for advice |
