Help identifying a bonnet - titch - 29-11-2013

Looking at a smooth bonnet on ebay, i asked the seller if it has been done well with a plate welded over the badge recess.
He replied that it was an original smooth bonnet so no plate.
Got me thinking is it a phase 1 bonnet as they didn't have a badge on? I messaged him asking and he didn't really know what he was talking about.

Anyone tell from the picture please, as i don't want it if it is a phase 1 as it's for my phase 3.

Cheers Titch

Looking at the angle of the front I would say phase 1 .

It's a smoothed phase 2.

How do you tell the difference?

And if it is a phase 2 will that be ok on a phase 3, as i know the phase 1's don't really fit the phase 3 very well.

Phase 1's have a grooves that run in them.

Phase 2&3s have a ridge. It will fit on a phase 3

It phase 2 or 3. But will fit for what you want.

difference between phase 2 and 3 is just the depth of those two lines you see.
