running problems - kingy - 24-11-2013

Pick ya brains on this one peeps.
My cars been sat for a while so decided to take it out for a spin.
When I started it it sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders. Anyway just thinking it was just cold I carried on but after about half a mile it was just the same and the water pump light had come on my dash.
Any ideas? ?????

RE: running problems - kingy - 24-11-2013

Well it looks like some kind of pump.

Overboost light.

Nah um could be low coolant level?

RE: running problems - Jimbo - 24-11-2013

U sure its not just engine management light?

Yeah it is. Just been doing research. Thick as shit me lol. So I guess its got to be plugged in. Looks like either head gasket, coil pack or spark plugs.

Tu's.do.suffer from dodgy coilpacks.
Bit random for Hg to just go, although tu's also suffer from headgasket failure too lol

Coilpack or a dead HT lead.
