Hiya! - Ceri - 10-11-2013

My name is Ceri and i am picking this 306 D Turbo up this week!
Never owned one before so it's going to be a voyage of discovery!

RE: Hiya! - WiNgNuTz - 10-11-2013

Welcome along, plenty of us on here have got DTurbo's (myself included), so you'll have a wealth of information at your finger tips! Big Grin

RE: Hiya! - Ceri - 10-11-2013

excellent! Big Grin

RE: Hiya! - DazzaHDI - 10-11-2013

Welcome Smile
First thing you need to do, clones and crystals Smile
Then maybe a bosch and some lows Smile

RE: Hiya! - Ceri - 10-11-2013

Sounds like the first thing i need to do is learn the lingo! Big Grin heheheh

RE: Hiya! - DazzaHDI - 10-11-2013

Clones: Cyclones (the wheels in my sig) Crystals: Headlights
Bosch: Bosch fuel pump, one of the XUD boys can tell you more about this as I'm more HDI and obviously lows is lowering
Understand abit better now? Big Grin

RE: Hiya! - Ceri - 10-11-2013

Thanks dude!

Apparently the car has a loud turbo whistle.. so i am guessing that there may be a crack somewhere. Gonna sort that out first.
Those wheels and lamps look nice!

RE: Hiya! - Scott - 10-11-2013

Welcome to the club Smile Where abouts are you based?

RE: Hiya! - Herby7 - 10-11-2013

Sounds like the perfect excuse for a bigger turbo then! Wink

I'd be more inclined to point you in the direction of the projects section for inspiration for wheels, but then i'm not a big fan of 'clones. For example, i have a set of Ariannes to go on in the summer (if i FINALLY get some tyres for them), they look like these:

They are usually found on 307's, but fit on 306's with spacers.

My winter wheels are Lasers (need tyres for them as well at the moment!):

Currently running the Harriers on mine which are the same as the ones you've got, but thats because im broke and cant afford tyres for any of my other wheels! Sad

So there's a couple of other options for you, depends what takes your fancy, and what sort of theme you want for the car (if any! Wink ).

Crystal headlights are definitely a good idea though, but don't forget you'll need to change the indicator stalk if you get twin optic lights (with 2 bulbs in each headlight).

Hope that helps! Big Grin

RE: Hiya! - Pug-Mike - 11-11-2013

dturbo is the way forward welcome along and it is really surprising how quick you pick everything up

RE: Hiya! - DazzaHDI - 11-11-2013

As wangnads said, good excuse for a bigger turbo Smile
Tdo4, fmic and a bosch and you'll be laughing!

Yeah it's down to personal preference with the wheels really, I've only got clones as they're nice 306 alloys, I really want a nice set of compomotives though!

Also projects section is a good shout + look in the XUD section

On the money! Tdo4 is a subaru turbo, I'm sure there's a fair few on here running them. Go have a snoop around Smile

RE: Hiya! - Ari - 12-11-2013

Hi

Some basic colour coding and phase 3 trims would update the Bianca nicely Cool

RE: Hiya! - Ceri - 21-11-2013

Still not picked this up. It's smoking a bit now apparently.
If it does need a turbo, will this one fit? http://306oc.co.uk/forum/thread-18967.html

I can't post in the for sale section because i haven't posted enough. x x x
