307 Hdi questions - Daniel306 - 03-11-2013 Looking at a 307 hdi for a daily car, the add says "has antipollution problem" dose that mean i just need to cut out the DPF and remove it from the map? Its also got lexas rear lights, so iv been looking at getting standard ones, but some say 01 - 05 and others 06+, is it just the same as the 306, there all interchangeable just different style or is the shape different ? RE: 307 Hdi questions - rd070707 - 03-11-2013 Antipollution fault is not exclusively a dpf fault no, it can refer to any engine management fault. You would need Peugeot diagnostics to decide what the fault is to be confident it wont be an expensive fix. And even if it is dpf, it's not as simple as just cutting it out, it needs to be deactivated on the bsi and mapped out RE: 307 Hdi questions - Daniel306 - 03-11-2013 What else could the fault be? RE: 307 Hdi questions - colin247 - 04-11-2013 If it is the DPF just drill three 10mm holes through the honey comb with a long masonary drill. RE: 307 Hdi questions - Daniel306 - 04-11-2013 That car Sold, Now looking at a 134Hp 6 speed XSI Hdi, is it a higher spec that the Dturbo just without the spoiler and lower springs ? |
