I really want these, just need to work out what"s more important, christmas for others or for me.. RE: 307 XSI180 302mm brake setup - cwspellowe - 17-11-2013 From what I remember the hoses were the same length as normal ones, why couldn't you join them up to the standard hard lines, are you using braided fronts just now? RE: 307 XSI180 302mm brake setup - Ricky - 17-11-2013 No but after my last attempt at undoing the union didn't go that well I would rather not touch them again! RE: 307 XSI180 302mm brake setup - cwspellowe - 17-11-2013 Ahh ok. Honestly couldn't tell you if the caliper end of the flexis is the same, ive nothing to compare to. Iirc they look similar though. Should be a pretty standard union. RE: 307 XSI180 302mm brake setup - darrenjlobb - 17-11-2013 To be fair, this is a bargain.... I had a set of these and there good brakes, and cost more than that generally just for calipers. RE: 307 XSI180 302mm brake setup - cwspellowe - 18-11-2013 Cheers Darren. Think I paid £110 for the calipers and another £70 for discs and pads, if I'd seen a set at this price id have jumped at them! Could probably make more but for various reasons I need quicm sales so am prepared to take a cut down price. Shouldn't even need to ask for offers, £90 is a steal and my god they stop well! |
