I've been wanting a bx for ages. But not for that much....
Bx mi16 is the one for me, or a cx gti, or visa gti, or ax gti... Zx 16v

I am not surprised by the price tbh, as these are clocking over 20 years old now, and starting to raise in value. even I have noticed a big jump in price for mine, used to go for free to peanuts, now your be lucky to get hold of one for peanuts,
I paid 180 for mine 5 years ago, you wont get one for that now, try nearly 300!

There's old kid near me with 2 of these in white on his drive. He's always polishing them and messing about under the bonnet.

I'd love a TZD, never seen one at a good price. I nearly bought a phase 1 TGD to drop an XUD9TE in but apparently it has to be a BX XUD engine because the hydraulic pump is attached to the head

Not many BX nor ZX 16vs left now, probably down to the 205 fraternity! You can put Xsara VTSs in that bracket too.
(As well as the engines, beam parts and steering racks off the above are extremely sought after!).
