What do people reckon, timing? Or pump need advance/retarding?

lock the crank, cam and pump and see which line up. As long as you don't have really long timing bolts you won't need to take the engine off it's mount. I had to do this when Ruan decided to run the pump a tooth out.

If they line up, could be a sticky injector....if so take it for a rag.

does sound out slightly; sounds very similar to the 205 when that was out by a fraction..

just lock up the crank and have another pop at pulling the tension over ThumbsUp
