RE: The Weather Channel - Dum-Dum - 27-10-2013 Well it should of kicked off by now and my 10ft TV ariel is only held on by a couple of cable ties but the fact that I still have perfect reception suggests my ariel is still there and thus the storm cant be that bad. RE: The Weather Channel - Toms306 - 28-10-2013 Had no electricity here for about an hour this morning! ![]() Also loads of trees down round here. Also on the coast though, so nothing to slow the wind before it gets here... RE: The Weather Channel - Matt - 28-10-2013 99mph over the needles! Took me 4 attempts to get acros the island last night, every road to ryde was flooded. Lost coppins bridge roundabout to floods. My road dissapeared. Couple of trees down. Local police are useless with trees, blocking the wrong side of the road incase a tree fell. He made sure he was in the side so he can still get home haha But yeah, pretty bad here last night. Although, didn't lose power once ![]() RE: The Weather Channel - Curt - 28-10-2013 It's easy for everyone to say it's a massive overreaction and it's typical UK... But if we had this or worse without any warning, I'm betting everyone would moan then, too? Quite a few places are effected pretty badly anyway, not bad here but Katie's parents in Dorking has had it bad. |
