Which clutch...? - Jonny81191 - 27-02-2012 So which clutch would people use for a stage 2 HDi? It's been converted to an XUD clutch. I want it to be good for at least 200BHP and 330lb/ft. Cheers ![]() Re: Which clutch...? - Chris - 28-02-2012 CG solid center 4 paddle and uprated pressure plate. £200. Mates got that in his car and its fine, tad judery but getting better as its wearing in. Same as what JP has too. Re: Which clutch...? - Jonny81191 - 28-02-2012 why the solid centre? Isn't the sprung centre smoother and generally better? Re: Which clutch...? - Dum-Dum - 29-02-2012 Sprung center is nicer to drive but your car will snap the springs in the center plate (trust me ive done it) IMO id go for a helix paddle. Dont trust CG anymore. Re: Which clutch...? - Chris - 29-02-2012 As chris said with s2 power up you'll snap the springs in them. And the unsprung ones arnt as bad as you think they would be. Re: Which clutch...? - Jonny81191 - 29-02-2012 Cheers. Dum, will a helix GTi6 clutch be the correct one or do I need an HDi one? Re: Which clutch...? - Chris - 29-02-2012 If you have the dt setup you'll need the gti one, unless they do a speciffic dt one. Or to run the hdi one you'll have to swap everything back to standard. Re: Which clutch...? - Jonny81191 - 29-02-2012 thought so. cheers. |
