306 meridian estate rear ride height - treborobert - 19-10-2013

i have recently bought a 306 estate hdi 2000.the rear end seems low and very firm with a few creaks, does any one know how to check the ride height etc on the rear.

Iirc the Estate rear end is a little bit lower with the weight. But someone will know for certain

yeah estates are a fair bit lower as standard, also if its a later estate it may well have 21mm TBs

take a picture with it empty and on flat ground, I'll be able to tell if it's roughly standard.

90% of all the estates i've seen have knackered rear beams anyway, maybe to due the extra weight they carry.

it could have a problem with excess weight in past, as it has a towbar fitted

I have a meridian spec estate, i had the back wheels of it tonight measuring the height, mine is 38mm or just shy of 15" from the top of the hub centre ring to the lip of the arch
