Too many people round here are on their phones while driving like they stole it RE: ummm naughty boy! - Ruan - 18-10-2013 Be nice if they could learn2grammar... Quote:Using a mobile telephone whilst driving has been proved to cause collisions Illiterate twats. RE: ummm naughty boy! - 306Puggy - 18-10-2013 Ah, bless them. OP you are lucky you didn't get points! Although yeah I agree, the blanket ban does seem daft but then you get people taking the piss when you are too lenient such as women doing their makeup and going on their latest Ipod/pad/book/whatever when they are in traffic and never even looking up at the road! I support common sense solutions and it does seem a shame that certain types have spoilt the use of in car technology for sensible people. RE: ummm naughty boy! - cully - 18-10-2013 could be just a spoof for all i know as there is no refrence number to contact them with ive only removed my name address and car reg form the letter and it was in a plain brown envolope no police marks on it anywhere ummm naughty boy! - rocker8742 - 18-10-2013 Lol at pc lovering! ![]() RE: ummm naughty boy! - ozonehostile - 18-10-2013 Shouting on loudspeaker ftw RE: ummm naughty boy! - pugvivant - 18-10-2013 they cant do you for shit unless they catch you red handed or photographic have evidence. Had this type of crap in the past even though i currently have 2 x CU80 which is caught using mobile whilst driving. I had a similar 2 like your letter before , I duly told them send me the photographic evidence or stick it up ur 'arris, never heard back from them again. I don't get the attitude? They sent that as a warning, to make you think, nicer than just giving you a ticket and points. RE: ummm naughty boy! - Toms306 - 18-10-2013 I don't get why people are using a telephone while driving anyway? I can't imagine anything is so important that it can't wait! ![]() Plus I'm jealous that you can obviously concentrate on more than one thing at once.... ![]() RE: ummm naughty boy! - pugvivant - 18-10-2013 (18-10-2013, 03:25 PM)bigcheez2k3 Wrote:(18-10-2013, 01:46 PM)pugvivant Wrote: they cant do you for shit unless they catch you red handed or photographic have evidence. I guess you feel that I am giving it the large, but they cant book ya with out evidence its as simple as it gets, its called knowing your rights. I am not saying I am right for being on the fone, I totally agree its dangerous and against the law, its just at silly times when I used my fone I got caught and duly brandished my 6 points for both offences. Its like any crime, you are innocent untill proven guilty. I know that, you know that, they know that which is why I didn't get it. They most likely read the letter, lol'd, and trashed it. RE: ummm naughty boy! - Eeyore - 18-10-2013 what tracker/software is that? RE: ummm naughty boy! - Jonny81191 - 18-10-2013 (18-10-2013, 12:51 PM)306Puggy Wrote: Ah, bless them. However, on the other hand I also think that maybe it is necessary due to the total lack of common sense that the general public display whilst on the roads. I don't like this whole "nanny state" that we're being forced into, but there's a lot of people who need that level of guidance because they literally are thick as pig shite.
