Bosch Help - therefused - 02-10-2013
fitted my bosch pump,
when i start the car, its running very lumpy and sounds like its missfiring, its basically just pumping out loads of smoke and the car is hunting revs going from 800 to 1200.
iv checked the timing twice all the pins lock in sound. there is just the one lock hole on the flywheel?
would the pump advance being wrong be enough to cause that? iv set it to 2/3rds moving the ufo towards the intercooler.

did you move the pins in the fuel pump mount?

i got the bosch bracket, well was told it was the bosch bracket, i will have a compare

i gave the pump pretty much full advance and its running sweet as a nut
